Meet Wendy Flint | Print |
I would like to introduce you to Wendy Flint, PhD, my dear friend and a terrific educator I truly admire! She is a former tenured faculty member and Director of Professional and Continuing Education at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California. Currently, she is the Senior Vice President of Boston Reed College in Napa, California.Wendy put me to work as an instructor at her Faculty Development In-Service Days when she recognized the gaping need in several college professors who were also eldercaregivers. They needed good information on sound Aging principles and new research for taking care of themselves as well as their loved ones during that challenging time of caregiving. It was for her that I developed my “Care for the Caregiver” and “Sandwich Generation” classes.

Jesus tells us to think ahead: “For which one of you, when he wants to build a building does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?” (Luke14:28-32). God wants to give us direction: “I (God) will instruct you in the ways you should go. I will council you with my eyes upon you” (Psalm 32:8). Finally, Apostle Paul writes: “…let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner” (I Corinthians 14: 40)
